It is expensive for what offers. If you have kids, they will probably have fun, but the houses of the former colonies don't have any information about what is exposed. You have to guess or suppose. My friend and I had fun running around the mini houses. But the museum area was very strange and sparse. If you have kids they will have a field day playing in all the miniature buildings though
This was created to give children the experience of Portugal and its houses and buildings, at their own scale. It's great to enter the houses and come and see at the window, children love it.
We took our grandchildren (visiting from UK) this week, admission for 3 adults and 2 children (5 and 7) was 37e. The first sections are international colonies.....very little on display for the different African countries, no English version of any narratives. A place where adults become small and the little ones become big! This place will take you around Portuguese monuments and towns. Really worth the visit especially if you have children!
Recommended for adults too, as it shows many portuguese monuments in a smaller scale. The Children love it!!!!
