There's actually nothing more to do here than to take a couple of pictures. The old Aveiro's train station is preserved (although it seems a little shabby) and it's at the entrance of the new station. Can't be missed (as long as one enters or exists from the right one).

Upon arriving in Aveiro, I made my way up the train station escalator only to be confronted by this massive blue and white tile masterpiece. A fitting entrance to such a beautiful, unique city - a first impression that did not disappoint!
In the city center, it is totally worth a visit. Not only is amazingly beautiful, it will also tell you a lot about Portuguese and Aveiro's history and traditions :)
A very beautiful and modern station with traditional portuguese azulejos but some of the bathrooms may not always be available, and that caused me some troubles when I used to go there daily. Other than that, very nice.
The attractive old station is situated next to the new modern station. Lovely clean square where you can relax in the sun while waiting for a train. Not worth a trip of an hour and ten minutes from Porto just to see the station.
