Who would have thought you would find a wine museum in Terceira? I know I didn't. Beautiful grounds, tasting room and history in this quaint place.
Closed on Mondays, nice little museum for local wine lots of interesting objects well labelled and nicely displayed, also good garden growing all types of grapes clearly labelled. You can also taste the wine and buy some should you wish. Easy to park and find.
Wonderful visit to the wine museum! We lucked out and arrived shortly after another group of 4 arrived. Luckily, we were able to join their "tour", in which one of the individuals was fluent in Portuguese and English so he was able to translate. At the end we were offered a glass of wine, and we happily purchased some bottles... 更多
This is a nice visit on the way to the beach. PROs 1. Friendly tour guide 2. Lots of antique wine making stuff however we didn't see them make wine 3. Free samples (mostly sweet wines) 4. Very pretty flowers 5. Very cool tasting room Cons: 1. We drive by and had to look for parking. We parked down in... 更多
The museum is just a small room with some exhibits you can read about. There really isn't much there. The grounds are very pretty, but very small, and the tasting left something to be desired. overall we probably could have done without this visit
