Chapel situated opposite the museum but closed to the general public. Has attached the old hospital and in the courtyard there is ongoing excavation work of old Moorish storage buildings. Built around 1800 with working bell tolling the hours.
Very pretty landmark. We were staying close to the clocktower, and I certainly remember being woken early each day by the chiming of the clock bell. Make sure you don't get a hotel next to it....unless you are an early riser.
Most interesting was the Moorish ruins dig just outside the building. Was not open when we were there . Really not much to look at . While there we heard children's choir in one section of the building.
