This beach is in old town and a good place to sit down at one of the beach bars with a brew and peope watch. Inatel Hotel is on the far east side and has lovely decks overlooking the ocean and wine for 5eu a bottle.
Nice beach but can be difficult to walk due to sharp crushed shells. Plenty of sun beds and umbrellas but only a few in use this week. Easy to walk from Solemar hotel round to square near escalators are as this is where you can find some each facing restaurants.
Lovely beach to walk along, from the old town to the new town, and easily accessible. Wooden walkway of you do not want to walk on the sand. Sunbeds/shades available and beach bars within easy reach with handy toilets.

You approach the beach via escallators, the sand is soft, and pedaloes are for hire as well as sunbeds and sun shades. In front of the beach thre is a square where segways can be hired. Plenty of cafes nearby.
There is a semi deralict pier which id fenced off, but anglers ignored the fencing
Visited here a couple of times on a recent holiday. There is a 15 euro charge for two sunbeds. There are several facilities to eat and drink, showers and toilets close by.
