This is for children. If you are over 5 feet tall then I guess you’ll miss most of it (it has very low windows and displays). If you are shorter and younger (accompanied by parents), you will probably love this.
Although I speak a few languages, Flemish is not one of them. Unfortunately, all the exhibits are only annotated in Flemish. There is an English ( and French and German) guide shert but the info on it is pretty scanty. Lots of broken pots, a few bits and pieces , some interactive exhibits ( which werent working on the day... 更多
We've been all over Europe and find that archaeological museums are usually our favorite. But this museum is anything but that. We had seen everything else we had planned to and having a few hours left of our visit and in the bitter cold we decided to retreat into the museum. There are no impressive artifacts on display. There are... 更多
The only good thing was that this was covered on our Museum pass and we didn't purposely pay to go in because it was the worst museum I think I've ever been in. It was ridiculously bad. We just whizzed through it because it was so boring and badly done. The only good thing about it was there was a... 更多
It was a horrible experience with no explanation. You couldn't have payed me the eleven euros it took from me. We went in here to escape to escape the carnival, rain and to learn some real good quality history. The only reason why we went through the entire museum is so that we could laugh at the worst place in... 更多
Probably the worst museum I've ever been to. There's scant information and it's all in Dutch. The route is confusing. And there are few actual exhibits. We got in with our Bruges City Card, but we would have felt totally ripped off if we'd paid the 4 Euro regular admission price. Avoid!
As a fan of Archeological Museums in general, I was excited that we had sufficient time to drop in here however afterwards I was disappointed that we hadn't spent the time doing something else. I am writing this review two days later and genuinely cant think of any real highlights from the visit here. Part of this could be due... 更多
This place was interesting but didn't really hold my attention and so was quite a quick visit. Like all museums it depends on the persons interests.
Most of the displays were broken and even if they had worked they seemed to be weak attempts to make something "interactive" but with no purpose. I think this is supposed to be geared towards children's school classes but it was hard to tell as things were explained so poorly.
