Although a little expensive for just two of you the Horse drawn carriage ride around Bruges is a must, our guide, Sofie, was excellent and gave an informative and interesting running commentary of what we passed.
The charge is €50 per carriage and up to 5 can ride. Our driver was very polite, knowledge and our horse was very even tempered. You pass by all the major places to see and it helped us to orientate ourselves; later we went back to several places to get better views. The drivers expect a tip, they make that... 更多
What a wonderful way to see the streets of Bruges! My husband and I really enjoyed our tour of the City, our guide was very informative and charismatic. 50 Euros for 30 minutes is a little steep, especially as 10 minutes of those are put aside for feeding and watering the horse half way round, all the same I'm glad... 更多
It was €50 for half an hour. I was really looking forward to this trip as we didn't do the horse and cart ride when we were there last. We was told it would take 30 minutes, the young girl was good at information. After 10 minutes we stopped for 5minutes to feed the horse, then on with the journey... 更多
My husband and loved our tour in the horse drawn carriage. Our tour guide was extremely passionate about the local history and even though he must recite the same information hundreds of times a week you would never have none. Others have commented that the tour is pricy however we thought it was worth every euro. The horse are well... 更多
Decided that we wanted do something different whilst in Bruges on a short break so decided to take one of the Horse Drawn Carriage Tours and were glad we did… We boarded at the Market Square, where they also return, with a lovely lady driver who shared various interesting stories about many of the buildings, lanes, homes, canals, historical small... 更多
Teamed up with 3 others to make the cost of the ride a bit more bearable (Euro 50 without tip). Probably only takes about 20 minutes on a round-robin trip (including a 5 minute+ stop for the horse to have a water break). Don't really see any more than if you had walked the same circuit, but it was quite... 更多
We absolutely loved touring Bruges by horse and carriage. The driver we had was great, very informative, spoke good english and made the experience fun. There were many areas that we saw such as minnewater lake (lake of love) that we had not managed to find previously by foot. A great way to find out some facts and history of... 更多
Enjoyed hearing the history of Brugge on this ride. They is a shirt break on the ride for the horse to eat and drink which gives you a chance to take photos of the convent. We did the ride at night which gave it more ambiance. Was quite expensive though.
