There is an information board a few metres from the Cannon close to the Bridge with information relating to the gun on the far side. Stumbled upon this old cannon, unfortunately there is no plaque or information regarding it which is a shame. It is in a nice area so worth walking to, it has been here a few hundred years but has never been used, the barrels are closed off to prevent rubbish being thrown in. A real pity.
That is all there is is the Big Cannon which is of some historical importance. Worth a quick look nice shops in the vicinity of the cannon and some cafes and restaurants;

Nothing special...if you don't see it, you won't miss anything at all... it's somewhere at the corner of the square... I don't know even why it's red...
