Does this creation has to be in the mediëval centre of Ghent..its a question which many different answers. After some time most local people gpt used of it and just enjoy it when theres something to do. In summer you have the Gentse Feesten here and in winter theres the ice skating track of the wintermarket. On summerdays you can... 更多
From the start the building of this hall was very controversial. In my humble opinion it does nog add to the look of the area - to the contrary, it clogs up the view in an otherwise almost entirely medieval setting (Saint Nicolas, City Hall, Belfry).
Hit the Christmas Markets during the month of December. I have seen the London and Stuttgart markets previously and wanted to try a different country. The hall itself is sculptural- that is all it has going for it, as it serves apparently no purpose. There is a way of inserting a modern building in an... 更多
If it wasn't to be placed in the middle of the beautiful and historical center of Ghent then it should have been an interesting building and maybe util enough for others not to complain about it. But where it is now it kind of destroying every bit of the beautiful city.
