Since they did some major improvements to the park, making a visit more interactive, it is even more fun now to visit the park with our children. Before we sometimes just went for the play areas, but now it's mainly for the animals. Especially the penguins are a big favorite... feels like a visit to The Boulders in South-Africa.
This is a wonderful, stressless experience! Besides the many animal displays, this place offers several great climbing and play areas for young and old. My kids did not want to leave at closing time.
I always love a zoo...The programs that Planckendael participates in makes it even better. However...I think the park could need a clean-up. It looks a bit old...They are busy changing things...but...some parts look like they have been forgotten for years. I have to say that I really loved the newer parts (Penguins, Elephants, ...) One of the great things for... 更多
In Planckendael you find a lot of animal back. A lot more then the Zoo of Antwerp! You really need a whole day if you want to see every continent!
We've spent a nice day in the park. The facilities are generally well kept, there are plenty of information available in Dutch, French and English. Food choice was limited, not so healthy and pretty expensive; a lot of people were bringing their own food. Tickets are slightly cheaper if you buy them online. In conclusion, a nice way to spend... 更多
This is one of the most completed zoo's I have visit in Europe. The animals are well taken care, all is saved for them but also for children. It is big enough and it is full of variation for children of all ages. They have a very good 'abonnement' where for the price of 1,5 visit price of a family... 更多
The Zoo was excellent place for a day picnic with kids and family. It has variety of attractions and animals. I liked Lion & its family with young cubs. Elephant family. Parrots was really awesome, but it was showing more love towards us if you buy a juice for them. Giraffe was really cool. Deer, Rhinoceros, Camel, Lot of birds,... 更多
It's a place I come very often. The zoo is well kept and there are plenty of animals to see. The park is easy to visit as it's subdivided in different continents. Children will love it but it's amazing for adults and elderly too. There is a bird show and you can eat and drink in the zoo for reasonable... 更多
This is not just a regular zoo, it is divided into several areas like America and India with whole dioramas to make you feel that you actually walk into a village in India. Id took a particular like to the stork building nests, something I have never seen before. This is an excellent visit for families.
