I visited with my 8 year old grandson on a discount ticket I found on the Internet. There were construction works on the 1st floor so that department was closed. So we visited the illusion exhibition, which was great, educational and full of activities for the children. My grandson was visiting from Stockholm and he was so happy he found... 更多
Well, the Museon big (and only) attraction at the moment is the exhibition on optical illusions. Sounds fun for kids too, hence I took my 8 years old daughter. Unfortunately, it was quite disappointing: everything is condensed in one room and it's placed quite randomly. There's no path that leads you to discover one thing after another, you just jump... 更多
We had a great time, with 2 children aged 6 and 4. My only critic is that a few of the interactive activities were not working. My kids enjoyed it. We spent about 3 hours and didn't manage to see all the exhibitions.

Rotating exhibits and large space. Very interactive and the kids love it. Not as good as NEMO in Amsterdam and much smaller but lots of things to check out and the kids generally liked it. Text is mostly in dutch though I think you can get headphones in english.
Nice small museum with a permanent exhibition (a few set up animals, fossils and other overall not impressive) on the upper floor and a changing exhibition generally dedicated to some technical /science/nature related theme and very well set up for children younger than 10-12 years (many machines where they can experiment)
This museum is small but excellent - I went for the mineral collection but was so impressed by the kids' activities such a calculating how much water was needed for the food you eat. Currently there is an exhibition on the Atlantic Wall which was incredibly informative.
This is next door to the Gemente museum. If you have children then it probably is the right place to take them, dinosaurs and fossils, but as I was on my own, I walked through quickly. Most displays in dutch,
