Lovely day in Leiden - fun to stroll around taking in the sights. Lots of lovely produce, cheeses, fish, stroopwafels, flowers. We visited on a Wednesday, I'm told it's twice the size on Saturday.
We found this market by pure chance when visiting Leiden, it was a high light of our visit and we enjoyed it so much we returned on the Saturday as we found out the market is here twice a week. Wednesday's and Saturdays. There's so much to see and you can spend a few hours slowly walking around. It's on... 更多
Leiden's bustling street market is not to be missed if you're in town on Wednesday or (especially) Saturdays. During nice summer days, the markets are filled with all sorts of vendors, selling foods, antiques, knick-knacks, socks, you name it. A great place to sample local delicacies such as cheeses and to people watch.
This is the place where you can get cheapest souvenir T-shirt, just need to take some time walking along the street. The canal are beautiful and I like the way coffee being served on top of the boat, we get a lot of varieties of foods from stalls with reasonable price as well, surprisingly amazing

It's fantastic to spend saturday morning (even better if it's nice weather) going around and buy some good food. Also around the market, there are a lot of shops which... 更多

There are also stands that sell olives, nuts, hummus, pickled peppers and other Turkish delicacies. I bought three hunks of cheese and had them vacuum sealed for my trip back to the US. I tried (and liked) a... 更多
