Would go here again just for the cocktails at the end, ended up getting an extra one, and there are so many flavours of shots! The museum was a quick walk through, didn't take long to get to the end. Staff were all polite and knew what they were talking about
Visited on a Friday, it had been very rainy so we were looking for a fun, indoor activity. We chose the House of Bols from a list of museums because it seemed the least dull, although we weren't sure what to expect. Little did we know what a fun experience it would be! We really enjoyed learning the history of... 更多
Went on a Saturday afternoon with my husband. Staff were very welcoming and the museum part was interesting. We enjoyed guessing the smells! Cocktail was amazing as were the two liqueur shots. Well worth the money
My friend and I loved this museum. It's not very big, but very cool. If you like cocktails, this is the museum for you. Tantalise your olfactory senses with over 25 different tipples and learn about genever. The drink we tried to copy in England (and couldn't) that became gin. Then finish your "educational" excursion with a cocktail of your... 更多
Just the thing to counteract too much seriousness after doing the Van Gogh (which was amazing). The museum-y bit is quite interesting and we enjoyed the smelling of the bottles and the bit where your sense of taste and smell are confused. However the free cocktails and tastings were supper and further libations at 5€ a go a snip. We... 更多
Wasn't really expecting much being a rainy day and a lover of cocktails thought it might be a bit of fun. Informative, things to interact, interesting and spot on cocktails to try at the end. Enjoyed it that much stayed for a few drinks.
Visiting the House of Bols was an interesting experience. The movie about the history was very interesting and the cocktail at the end was also really nice. We had the tastings of the Gennever and the Cornwyne (sp?). Our bartender, Ketynne (sp?) was really helpful, informative and interesting. The young ladies at the tickets and the gift shop were also... 更多
At the time I had never heard of the tour but one of the local recommended it so I had to try it out. It's a nice little tour and at the end you get to try a couple of their drinks. The tour was relatively inexpensive also.
I'm not the biggest fan of gin, but the House of Bols made it genuinely interesting and exciting. Learning the history behind it all and where the famous makers stand now was a joy to witness. Then engaging in a sampling session of cocktails was delightful if unexpected. By the end of it, I had to visit the gift shop... 更多
This was a great trip and well worth the entrance fee. We walked around at our own pace - there are several interactive displays - some of which inform you of the historical side and others which test your senses of taste and smell. This was an informative trip but was also great fun. Included in your entry ticket is... 更多
This was one of my favourite activities in Amsterdam! But I do love my flavoured alcohols. Tickets are 14.50 Euros each if bought instore; this includes the tour, a personalised cocktail and and 2 shots of your choice. We bought our tickets for 13 Euros each from the ticket shop on Museumplein – with the food stalls etc, next door... 更多
