Good place for an authentic Amsterdam Bruin Cafe. Behave like a tourist and go and shame yourself, on a day trip to party in Amsterdam - Go somewhere else, Want to talk to your friends about the meaning of life or just discuss nothing... Order a whiskey at the bar. only seating places, if full - leave the guest alone... 更多
This is an authentic Amsterdam beauty, small, packed with atmosphere with a touch of the Miss Haversham in the décor, great beer and a genuinely friendly manager (who took our photo behind the bar !) In its way, it simply cannot be bettered.
It's a one of a kind place, a very cozy atmosphere with jazz and a barman who takes his cocktails seriously, especially the large variety of gin and tonics on offer. It's especially nice if you get there and can "colonize" it with your friends. But be forewarned - it's small and usually crowded, so may be difficult to get... 更多
Charming quiet place for a drink. Dusty as hell, but filled to the brim with character! Good beer - had a la trappe - and nice staff...
Walked into this 'tiny' tourist recommended traditional Dutch drinking establishment - barman sitting behind the crowded bar (all twelve of them) couldn't be bothered looking up and just carried on talking to his audience - probably locals. Turned and left. Dont even bother looking for it,
It's like stepping back in time! Medical themes, quirky decor, odd if i am honest. Lovely relaxed atmosphere and delicious finger food available. Staff were fabulous. It was quiet when we visited and a welcome relief from the madness of Amsterdam
Just off Kalverstraat, the most wellknown shopping street in A'dam, you'll find this pleasant little cafe/bar. It is a very cosy and intimate place, good to impress your girl-/boyfriend on a visit to Amsterdam. They have survived through centuries, it is well kept and a 'great' little place to have drinks. Enjoy!
Popped in for an after dinner drink with my daughter. Extensive selection of whisky and gin. Great jazz music. Friendly owner. But the real wow factor is the interior. So much interesting stuff to see on the walls cloaked in a heavy, mind-boggling layer of dust.
