The park is nicely located, very good place to go for a walk on a sunny day. Unfortunately it is quite poorly maintained. The benches are old and dirty. On rainy days there is lots of mud on the trails so it's not possible to walk there without getting your shoes dirty.

This place isn't big but worth a visit if you want somewhere pretty and nice to stretch out. There's a lovely water feature all through the middle and lovely places to lay and chill. Definitely recommend for young and old and kids

I always hang out a little in Sarphatipark when I'm in Amsterdam. It's great for people watching and seems to be frequented as much by the locals as the ubiquitous tourists such as myself. It's really just a nice place to unwind a little from the surrounding hustle.
