Always a pleasant walk down the canals - any season (although not so fun in downpouring rain). Best time is the spring, summer or autumn. Lots of little shops and services. Be sure to look up to see the tops of the roofs of all the canal houses.
We loved this street and canal. Tucked away not far from The Anne Frank House, it is a quite residential street. We loved the children's chalk drawings on the pavement and the benches with signs inviting us to take a rest. Lots of flowers and interesting buildings. Perfect.
It is one of so many canals in Amsterdam. The location is just on the opposite of the Anne Frank House. You can't find any tent sells flowers. But you will find some nice stone tablets above the doors or windows. Quite nice view when you stroll along this canal
