This city is in the Netherlands and Bgium. It is possible to cross the border. Some houses and restaurants stand in both countries. You can see a beautiful church and Het Sanjaardsgat ( a sort of gate of a castle).
A great respite from walking tour in Breda. Lots of history to see and much to learn. In the process of upgrading, so some of the faded artwork on the walls is being renewed.
Wasn't what I was expecting. But still impressive architecture. Not having any buildings older than 200 years in Australia it's fascinating to see such an amazing structures and to contemplate how they built them and how long it would have taken.

impressive monument in the center of Breda... the restoration work is highlighted in some explicative presentations.. beautiful columns and ceiling .. worth a visit (free entry)
Being restored a couple of years ago it is back to it's former glory. Very nice church with excellent architecture inside. It holds some tombs from the Royal family as well...
Located right next to the market and near station Church has an interesting architecture and looks beautiful. Didn't go inside , is surrounded by restaurants
From the outside the church looks fabulous. Once your inside you cannot feel the church anymore. It has no atmosphere. Totally not worth the visit.
