We visited Florence for a few nights on vacation and decided to try a local gay bar.
We arrived kind of early around 20:00.
Bartender spoke excellent English and the drinks were strong and nice.
It gets busier later in the night but we were exhausted from our sightseeing.
I recommend Piccolo for some nice drinks
We stopped in for a drink at 20:00. It was empty. The bar tender was super nice, spoke great English and said the place fills up around 23:00. But only with men. He is not sure where the women go. We had fun.
A nice place to have the first beers of the night. When I was there there were a few people, it was not crowded. I stayed for an hour or so and left because nothing was happening. No dancing, just a few groups talking with their friends. I didn't feel a very welcoming attitude there. Nice prices though
A little bar tucked away in Florence. Very friendly bartender and customers. We had a great time!!
There arent many gay bars here, in fact other than clubs/ disco there are only saunas etc.
a nice place for a few smart ones...
My friend and I had heard about this bar so we decided to check it out. We loved it. The crowd is attractive and fun. The owner, Antonio, made us feel welcome and allowed us to photograph the silver phallus (a modern sculpture). I definitely recommend this bar to the LGBTQ community- but also the allies. Great Bombay and tonics,...
Stop and stare at the beauty and symmetry of the Basilica of Santa Croce any time day or night. Unraveling around it are a number of architectural and artistic masterpieces, from the Synagogue to the Central National Library. As a hub for young people, the area gets busy with people who want to have fun: a continuous flow of tourists and locals become animated by songs and dances.
