If you need to get your steps in for the day, this is the market for you. The market is super long with endless stalls of vendors selling their wares. We walked all the way through without buying anything and then on our way back we stopped at the stores that had the items we wanted to buy.
If you're looking to get some housewares or some inexpensive duds or just have a morning doing what the locals have been doing for years, take a ride to the Cascine market. Definitely some decent bargains and good people watching.
