the central square of Catania is full of surprises and the Duomo is beautiful. There is so much to see in Catania and so many people just give it a miss and move on to Taormina or Siracusa. So stop a few nights here amd have a good look around. You will like what you see,
Not the grandest cathedral, but worth visiting. Not as over the top as some, which may disappoint. But it is a lovely calm space to spend a little time in.

The Duomo and Piazza are wonderful. Busy place with Historic buildings. And don't for to see the morning fish market behind the Piazza. It was amazing. I love the out door markets in Italy with all the fresh fish fruit a vegetables.

Resurrection procession and Easter Mass was very nice, this is worth a visit. On the square and in front of the church are many of the beggars, watch out for your valuables, they are a little violent.

Multiple days during the week, you can hear the beautiful melody of the choir throughout the square and enjoy hearing the... 更多
