Been to Verona a few times now. Love going round the old part of city visiting the old churches etc. A walk over the old bridge taking in the views across the city is a must as is a visit to Juliettes balcony. Really nice city, lots going on for a weekend in mid October. Easy to wander around, and a good museum of its history. Perfect for a short trip.
There are two routes, a and b. Cost €20 valid for 24 hours. Pay on the bus. Got on in Piazza Bra but the a route was not very good. Even toured the bus and railway station. Afterwards went on the b route. Very interesting and worthwhile. Both tours provide head sets for translation.
This was okay, but crowded, quite expensive and buses too infrequent. We were only in Verona for the day, so we saw the main sites, but didn't feel we had the time to wait to do the second line.
Brilliant value especially as it is not for a particular date but a full 24 hours. There are two lines - A and B.
