Beautiful, church off the beaten path. Wonderful artwork. In 10 minutes, Father Luigi formed a community from 60 strangers from around the world. We celebrated Mass in English, and afterward all took selfies with him. He wore a Cleveland Cavaliers shirt, and helped us win the championship.
If you're in the area, drop into this church and stare for a while at the beautiful ceiling. Other than that, there's not much that's remarkable about this church. It's small and fairly dark.
The streets of Venice are narrow, filled with people and bustling. Walk into la chiesa di San Zulian and you've walked into a slice of heaven away from the bustling crowds. Take a moment to sit in silence. Enjoy this little local church. Close your eyes and feel the silence that can be found in a chaotic (yet wonderful) city.... 更多
This was one of the most beautiful church's that we came across in Venice a while back. Loved the side alters and the main alter with the lovely arch and side alter on each side. The ceilings were out of this world.Started taking photos of it and with shock the battery went dead, what disappointment as we still had much to... 更多
Looking for a restaurant in this area, we stumbled (almost literally) across this small treasure. The outside is unprepossessing, but inside there are some nice decorations and an interesting mix of styles.

When traveling, there are fewer things that I love more than visiting attractions and sights that are a bit of the beaten path in terms of notoriety and attention. We came across Chiesa di San Zulian while exploring San Marco. It's not a big church, and the exterior is nothing spectacular, but the interior is beautiful. the paintings found on... 更多
Tucked away and a little hard to find – not far from San Marco - you will find San Zulian. The church is an undervalued gem. The interior is rich in gilded woodwork, 16th and 17th century paintings and sculptures. The façade is full of history. It was designed by Sansovino and paid for by a rich and immodest physician,... 更多
Beautiful church on a square. Easy to get to and worth a short visit. There is an app called HERE which one can use offline which helps tremendously to help find your way around.
