Definitely one of the most interesting churches in Italy. Has been built up by the people of Bergamo and is still owned by a private institution. Very very decorated. Be prepared when entering that almost every inch of the ceiling is stuffed with art. But really nice to see and is still an active church.

This is one of grand medieval churches, which never fail to impress and give a lot of positive emotions.
They also host very good concerts and in august 2016 there was an interestin multimedia program about Basilica's history projected on its walls in the evening.
