Completely managed by enthusiast volunteers, the museum displays an incredible collection of old and new train models, diorama and paraphernalia.
We just loved this place. Situated in an old Trieste railway station near the port area, its entrance was a little tricky to find, down a side street next to an English pub of all places. This museum is located right into the old railway station of Triest building and is full of cool stuff like uniforms, medals, maps, telegraphs, scale models of trains with their own path and train motors, parts and commands. Quite an interesting visit if you like trains and are fascinated by them.

Beautiful old building repurposed as museum, nostalgic atmosphere, lots of cool stuff from telegraph gear to model layouts to old locomotives.
