First of all, Parma, the entire town is amazing. It's not a tourist trap, and it's not a gritty, dirty mess (like Rome or Bologna). after visiting the Cattedrale and the Battistero, this Basilica will fall back, but it is still worth to visit, as it is just a five minutes walk from the Cathedral and located next to the Teatro Regio and the Palazzo della Pilotta.
