This temple is located adjacent to one of my family's favorite restaurants. We sat outside under the Pergola taking in the breathtaking views, with great photo opps.
The Tempio is high on the top of a mountain in Tivoli 25 minutes west of Roma and a few minutes walk from Villa D'Este. You must not miss this stop for lunch when visiting. The restaurant is alongside the Tempio, the food is amazing. On a sunny day you can see for miles. If it's not on your bucket... 更多
Our hotel room had a terrace that was directly across the gorge from this marvel. I was out there taking photos at every hour of the day and night. It was beautifully lit and absolutely fascinating.
the temple is a Villa Grogoriana and it is placed in the middle of a restaurant the temple though can be accessed further up as the restaurant has two entrances. Wonderful placement a dining experience in the middle of Tivoli's History right next to an exquisite dish and a good Glass of wine! Recommended!
We stopped here before going on to Hadrian's Villa. It was a really beautiful little town with narrow streets and spectacular views. The temple is pretty cool to see, too.
Well positioned at an easy walk fromTivoli's medieval quarter. Nothing spectacular but an intriguing piece of ancient architecture. Suggest you visit while eating out at Sibilla or at the beginning of your trek through the Parco Georgiana to see the waterfalls.
There's not much to the ruins here; just two structures, but it is nicely situated to enjoy views of the neighborhoods. If you're heading to the Cathedral, worth a short side trip to see these ruins.
