I made the online reservation 2 months ago and it was worthwhile. The official tour is much cheaper than private tours and you can see parts of the Coliseum which normally are closed to the general tickets. The tour starts on the new platform in the center of the Coliseum with a great 360° panoramic view of the arena. Then... 更多
What a great attraction to see. The waiting outside was a bit long, but when you are inside, you forget about the standing outside and expierence this amazing place.
The best historical tour we've ever had organized by ItalyWonders Guided Tour whose owner is Carlo. The practically all day tour was led by the incredible, Renata, whose knowledge (she has a Masters degree in Art History) was unbelievable deep and multi-lingual. Carlo saw us (2 Americans) waiting at the end of the line (about 2 hours wait to simply... 更多
We were approached by a young lady on the street trying to get us to come on this tour, we did not regret it! We were taken to the tour office wondering if this was legit, or being scammed. We joined a group of 20 others and spent the next 3.5hrs going around the Colosseum including the dungeons, upper ring... 更多
Our party did the Greenline Tour Afternoon Roman Treasures. We are not tour people as such so not a fan of following something on a stick. On this occasion we made an exception as we had limited time and wanted to maximise sights and info. In general it was a good choice. The guide warmed up as the afternoon progressed... 更多
The coliseum was absolutely amazing! We bought our tickets online which I wouldn't actually recommend doing as when you get there the line for people with tickets was about 3 hours long. We got the open top bus tour tickets for 72 hours which were great and then ended up paying additional for a group tour which got us in... 更多
The official website for the Coliseum also does the underground tour, we opted for the first tour at 9.20am, ordered online for 2, Tour and entry was 50 euros total (ticket also gets you into Roman forum and Palantine hill) I dont normally like tours, but what your paying for here is the access to under the colosseum, out where... 更多
Don't see the Coliseum without a guide. Not cheap but it's one of the main things to see in Rome so do it properly. Best to prebook a small tour and avoid the touts on the site.
