The road leads about half the way and then it is blocked and you have to continue by foot - about 500 m. in steep climb. Then it becomes flat along the mountainside with great views to all directions - fron Penyal d'Ifac on one side to Faro Albir on the other.
Absolute must do when visiting Calpe. Fun drive up the narrow road and at the top you can enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of Costa Blanca and Calpe area.
If you appreciate great views of Calpe, there are 2 places you should visit - The Rock, with its great views of Calpe from above the harbour and Mirador Monte Toix. The great advantage of Mirador Monte Toix is that you can take a car up within a stones-throw of the top and all but the least mobile will be... 更多
Having visited Calpe may times over the years, this was my first visit to Monte Toix lookout point. Definitely worth the visit as most reviews on here describe-superb views, an easy 10/15mins walk up the top, and you can drive right to the summit through Maryland residential neighbourhood. Highly recommended for families, couples and really everyone. Just breath and take... 更多
Please don't just drive to the bottom of the final path. We walked up from Calpe centre past Oscar's for a quick drink and then up through Maryvilla. Lovely but exhausting walk. Be aware that if you continue along the top you need to turn around and go back the way you came unless you fancy a scramble down some... 更多
You can park your car very close to the mirador. It is a very easy walk to the top with stunning views all round. We walked on to the TV mast which again affords beautiful views and is not strenous. Worth a visit.
We have not hired a car so called a taxi to take us. Jose our friendly taxi driver drove us right up to the bottom of the path. My mad daughters ran up I took a slow walk for just over 5 minutes it is very steep but the view is amazing ! Some fabulous photos ! Truly breath taking... 更多
Great view over to Calpe on the left and Altea on the right. Can be a little tricky to get there, you have to drive through the maze of Maryvilla. A 10 minutes walk uphill to get to the viewpoint from the carpark.
Went here last Summer (August 2014) to find a geocache, thanks to the coordinates I could find the place really easily. Nice walk and the view is so rewarding! :)
