This museum is probably one of the most memorable historical ones that we have visited on the European continent. It was beautifully prepared with detailed pictures, models & battle scenes from the Napoleonic Peninsular War. There was a very impressive selection of naval models as well. A beautiful building with some stunning artifacts.

When we went to this museum we were very lucky to meet a worker there by the name of Antonio. He explained the most important points of the museum to us. He was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic, and we could see that he enjoyed his work.

This museum is excellent. The building complex is beautiful inside and outside. It has a modes but nice collection of artillery guns and shells of various times and sizes.
