Small park located in A Coruna's old city. This is the final resting place of Scottish military campaigner Sir John Moore. The gardens are not upkept and hold the monument of the tomb of Sir John Moore. The plants are not well kept, the area is not kept garbage free. It does however offer views over the fort which are worth the stop.
Regarded as a hero by he citizens of La Coruna for saving them from Napoleon he is buried in a peaceful little garden overlooking the port. Not only does the garden of St. Carlos (Jardin de San Carlos) overlook the bay and Castillo de San Anton, offering beautiful views, but also is a place of commemoration in memory of Sir John Moore. Surely, it is worth a visit!

The San Carlos Garden is a small garden that has the remains of Sir John Moore, who died fighting the French during the Spanish War of Independence. There is a lookout point where one has good views. The bust of Sir John Moore showed he was a handsome man.
