One can enter in this museum either from main entrance or from the History museum. More convenient - from history museum, where you can also climb at the top of the tower and have a good look at the city and the sea. Entrance fee is 3,30 euros per person. You will sea a short film about the history of... 更多
The Roman Circus is a truly remarkable monument located in the ancient city of Tarragon built in first century BC and then rebuilt by the Kings of Aragon in the middle ages. It is a must see.
We loved this place but we do really like historical site. There are lots of things to look at including underground rooms and a wicked audio visual video that shows you what it would have looked like overlaid with current sites. There are plenty of photo opportunities if you make the effort to climb the stairs at the far end... 更多
If you are a Roman history buff then this is a great site. Tarragona has done well with making their sites easily accessible and interesting. It is close to the museums and Amphitheatre so all can be done collectively in a relatively short period of time.
A nice historical site that is worth the visit. At the far end of the site is a large tower that is well worth the effort of climbing the stairs as it has very good views over the city
I loved this place. We stumbled across this place on the way to the amphitheatre and decided to have a look. I really enjoyed looking in all the underground rooms and there's a good video that illustrates exactly what it is and what it would have been like. There are plenty of great photo opportunities up the top too. We... 更多
Free as was a local holiday on day we visited but well worth the admission. Vast expansive vault under city. Audiovisual display in ante-room. 360 degree views at top of building looking over city. Glass lift for those with children or disabled. Well worth a visit.
At €3.30 entrance fee, which is the same as the Amphitheatre, and that’s where the comparison ends. This is much much much better, there is at least something to see here, there are rooms to explore, underground chambers and from the top of the tower panoramic views of Tarragona, all with boards telling the story of the place. Excellent.
This is one of the stand-out sites in Tarragona. The preservation of the site and the way in influences the city is incredible. It neatly sums up the history and geography of the city in an easily understood way.
