It was great. The collection is very fine. There are recognizable orchestra instruments, instruments in chronological sequence, instruments from around the world and experimental modern instruments looking really weird. The glass cases let you see them from any angle (and take some great pictures), but the names are printed in small white letters on glass, which make them a bit... 更多
As the title implies, I've visited a number (around 6 at last count) of Musical Instrument Museums globally over the years, and I must say, the Museu de la Musica in Barcelona was definitely one of the best, if not the best that I have visited in the last 20 years. Distinguishing points: * Covers a really wide chronological range... 更多
We visited the museum because it was free and we were nearby. It was way better than expected. The exhibits traced the history of music from before written notes to modern Catalonia rock. Not something we would usually enjoy but the presentation was excellent and they even had instruments to try.
We decided to stop here because the museum was free on that particular day and we were blown away by the museum. It was very interesting and they had a room full of instruments you could try out for yourself. It was a great way to get out of the sun for a little and we really liked it.
We always try to visit the local music museum in every city we visit and Barcelona was no different. We took the tram and got off at the stop for Auditori Teatre Nacional however the Marina & Glories metro stations are also nearby. For €5, admission is an absolute bargain. The museum wasnt particularly busy so we were able to... 更多

We especially liked the displays on the organs - that had some hands on displays. At the end they also let you play... 更多
I sighed a deep sigh and said oh ok when my guitar playing hub wanted to visit here but I thoroughly enjoyed it. The actual history of music I skimmed through but there is a huge range of fascinating instruments on display and I am pleased we visited. There are some amazing objects there on which music can be played.... 更多
This museum is a delight. On the afternoon we visited we were the only people there, so this was a gem of an experience away from the tourist crowds. This is a well planned space with, unusually for a museum, very plush and calming surroundings, with deep carpet and plenty of seating for pausing to listen to the soundtracks. The... 更多
