I realise I'm not in agreement with most of the other reviewers here, but whilst the building itself is beautiful and imposing, the interior seemed merely a procession of austere, plain rooms. It certainly seemed overpriced for what it was, and the audio guides clashed with the background commentary they had running at some points.
The building has a stunning facade and an extremely interesting history but the cost of the tickets is excessive and, perhaps, the nicest part can be seen staying outside.
This is one of the oldest universities in Europe. The architecture is spectacular. You cannot visit Salamanca and not take time to visit this university. There are plenty of things to do and see and a number of guides for those that want a little bit more history.
A beautiful patio and portico and a lot of history. Not a destination but worth a visit, everything in the city is very clean and beautifully restored.
What a wonderful university in the classical tradition. The buildings are old and in many ways it reminds me of the great universities with tradition
You've seen or heard of its facade and its splendour. Very detailed, tricky, surpriseful beyond only just the frog, which continues to draw more looks than the rest of it as Unamuno regreted. Very interesting visit, the rooms are very well preserved and really give a good insight on the development of teaching in Salamanca throughout the years. I have... 更多
This is a great place to study. All of my professors were great and really knowledgeable about their subjects. I recommend this to anyone who is interested in studying abroad. Although a little pricey, definitely worth the money!
like all buildings in salamanca the university is absolutely elegant and beautiful!if you love medieval architecture you will definitely love the whole city!
A must see in Salamanca! The original buildings of the university, where Francisco Vitoria gave his lectures and Charles V sat there and listened! It made me feel like visiting Hogwarts a little bit. If you have the red card of Salamanca University, you don't have to pay and may visit this complex as many time as you want.
The exterior of the building is very beautiful, but we made the mistake of paying €10 to go inside. The inside mainly consists of dark, empty classrooms and touchscreen video displays that read you the same text that's in the brochure.
Well, what I really disliked about it was that everyone was clustered around the frog, so it took me two minutes to find where it was. Although at the same time because it's a single colour, there were people who just couldn't pinpoint where it had been. But it's an amazing structure. I loved it and it's just beautiful to... 更多
