Nice clean sandy beach with sweeping views and plenty of facilities. There is parking along the seafront as well as plenty of seating and bars along the way. This is a picture from Hotel Chiqui which is situated at the far end of the prom and a good place to stay if in Santander.
Lovely, cosy citybeach with clear water.
You can enjoy a whole day with gathering shell with the toddler, surfing with the teenagers and jogging on the beach for dad suffering of midlife crisis.
Compared to San Sebastian this beach is smaller, but also much less crowded.
When we were there it was not hot enough for swimming, however a few brave souls were there. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants to eat in. The beach is lovely for a brisk walk. We even saw a few wind surfers on the two days we visited.
Very nice sandy beach with great views. Several places to eat and drink nearby. Right across the street from the Grand Casino. Less than 100 yards from the bus stop so really easy to get to from Santander. It was a great way to spend an afternoon lounging in the sun!
