We found this while walking between our hotel and the botanic gardens. It worked out as a short cut and provided a nice secluded area without mad locals dashing by in their cars, trucks and vans!
Lovely garden areas with waterfalls right in the middle of Puerto. A great shortcut up through the town to visit the beautiful English Library. Both worth the effort.
A lovely place for a walk, the gardens on the slopes over looking the town are lovely with waterfalls and pools. The waterfall seems to turn on and off during the day not sure how often? There is a nice cafe as well. Further back from the gardens is a public park which is also very nice.
The Jardin Taoro is just gorgeous with lots of waterfalls and lovely plants. The park just above it (the other side of a big hotel) is just a big park but very nice and the cafe at the top is good. There is also an outdoor gym aimed at seniors!
Parks are mostly wonderful, and Parque Taoro is nice, but not anything special. There is a nice view over Puerto de la Cruz from the water garden, but it has little to do with the garden.
We didn't know this was here until we stumbled across it by accident on our way down to the front. Lovely surroundings with waterfalls, pools and fauna broken up by the path down winding its way through. Great views all the way down - grafitti at several points was an eyesore though.
We visited this park after a visit to the Aquatic Gardens. It wasn't spectacular and not worth a special visit up the very long ramps and steps that led to it. It may look better at other times of the year though1
Quite a climb, lots of steps, with increasingly great views of Puerto de la Cruz. Useful cafe/restaurant at the top. Take time to look, and play area for children.
