The road to Punta Teno is still closed off to the public due to the road collapse a few months ago, and when you look from Punta del Roque Negro you can still see the debris scattered across the mountain side. Unfortunately we made the one hour trip there (we took a chance, since we couldn't find solid info on... 更多
Drove for 75 mins only to find the road to access this area was closed down. Apparently 8m of narrow road collapsed into a ravine, and now the entire area is inaccessible. Had to go to Garachico instead
Arrived at the start of the road to Punta de Teno to find a barrier accross the road with no access beyond, manned by a couple of men in a van. No information was given as to why it was closed or for how long, though local traffic was seemingly waved through without a problem.
The trip to Punta del Teno is an exciting journey along what seems to be a dangerous road, but it's OK. It's certainly not for the feint-hearted, so be both brave and careful. But it's worth it when you get there. Right on the rocky edge of Tenerife, you have the lighthouse with the full force of the Atlantic on... 更多
Due to an advanture road which brings you here I would not go there just because of this nice point with lighthouse, because you can find this kind of beautiful sea, diving and swimming opportunity "out of the main tourist track" on many other closer points. BUT if you are in the north west of Tenerife, then don't miss it,... 更多
A nice drive and not as touristic als some other point on Tenerife. The lighthouse stands out between al the black rocks and the views down the cliffs just after passing the long tunnel (without light) are breathtaking!

The spot is accessible by a local road, which is, unfortunately, in appalling condition as driving is perilous for the car due to numerous holes. In some cases, these almost impede driving any further. With some patience and cautiousness you arrive to... 更多
I love this place, well worth the trouble to get there. The day I visited the sea was magnificent with every shade of blue & turquoise. Very peacful place, and great photo opportunities.Wear good footwear as it is a bit ruggard underfoot. Not much there just peace and quiet.
The coastal scenery is beautiful but it was incredibly windy. The approach road is full of potholes. Beware of thieves - our car was broken into, and others have posted warnings on other online sites.
