Fun place to visit for all ages. You start with history and work your way to actual fish tanks. Huge middle tank with rays, sharks, turtles, eels, amongst other fish. There is a tunnel where they swim above and below you. Definitely a good place to visit
Great aquarium on bottom floor but upper floors have very interesting historical and geological histories of area and of the local whaling and fishing industry. Fossils, scale models of ships, and lots more. Our daughter spent hours trying to touch the fish in the "petting zoo" area and especially loved watching the sting rays.
Great way to spend several hours in San Sebastian (especially if you need to escape the weather). The aquarium includes historical ship models and history of the area as well as sea creatures from the area. The long walkway with fish over your head and around you is well worh the visit.
We were surprised that it was more than an aquarium. There were displays of fishing lures and nets, coral, and miniature boats and villages.
