all the wordl famous spanish brands are here with a large choice of prices and styles...very pleasant to walk along both sides on a saturday night
This street (and the surrounding streets) are a paradise for shoppers. We are always surprised when we see the difference in choices and prices between Spain and Belgium. It's quiet unbelievable...
Calle Uria is downtown Oviedo and it has many good stores, including the big El Corte Ingles store. We went several times to this street to look around. There were many old and beautiful buildings that we admired on this street.
Calle Uria is a feast for the eyes! The architecture is varied and utterly beautiful. All kinds of shopping....from cigar shops to bakeries to pharmacies and everything in between. It's definitely a busy street but not crazy. I also enjoyed "people watching". LOVE THIS PLACE!!
Oviedo it's small city but you can't imagine how nice and clean is. There is not really thing to do. But people are really friendly. 2 or 3 day is good enough for visiting this city
The only way to describe it is as a stately, clean avenue with lots of high-end shopping. This is as close to Fifth Avenue as you're going to get in Asturias.
You can stroll down and visitthe most important stores in Oviedo from department stores such as the Corte Ingles to a boutiques stores or go to nice cafes such as Pelayos across the Escandaleras Plaza
