...and find something new! This time it was the day for the flower market, which added a touch of color to the scene. Unfortunately there were too many stalls selling trinkets just around the corner, this took away from the local color.
This 9th C stone fountain is a great example of medieval civil works. Because its so close to where you likely have eaten, you might just pass by and appreciate its survival.
This is a great little square near the market in Oviedo, there are fantastic gourmet food stores all around, and you can see the waiters pouring the famous cider ( sidra ) from a great height into glasses to get it frothy. Even the supermarket here has wonderful products to buy.

Yeah, its a lot like other Plazas in Basque Spain but what's not to like about that? I like to sit on my butt, drink good wine/cider/beer, eat tapas and look around. I can indulge myself here in a really enjoyable location. So go here. Have a drink. You will be happy!
