What a lovely experience. We have visited Malaga many times, but have never been to this Gem. The Museum is situated within a converted historic house. We were shown around by Ian, one of the owners, and he shared his great depth of knowledge with us as he led us through the Museum. Leading us through each room containing wonderful... 更多
We loved the glassware and our tour was given by the owner. He added a lot of personal information. It was beautiful. We had a little trouble finding it.
I found this place in TripAdvisor and just added it to my need to see in Malaga list. I was expecting to see some nice peaces of glass, but visit was much more than I expected. First collection is very impressive, especially knowing that is a private museum. I liked that tour was guided by one of co-owners of museum.... 更多
Thoroughly enjoyed this small but beautiful specialist museum. The Italian lady who took us around was very personable and knowledgeable and there were many beautiful glass, crystal, paintings & furniture pieces well laid out. There is an amazing display of stained glass windows & it was great to gain an understanding of how these stunning pieces were made.
Seriously TripAdvisor - *this* is the number one attraction in Malaga??! Although the guide obviously has passion for his collection, his spiel (including the bit where he pushed the garden as something we could hire!) really wasn't enough to hide the fact that this was really just a small and therefore quite limited private collection. Only worth visiting if glass... 更多
An incredibly pleasant surprise visit to the Glass and Crystal of Malaga Museum of the capital of costa del sol(Malaga). one of the staff makes us to enter the decorated with elements of each era rooms. we loved the proposal to play some pieces to capture the quality and sound of it. In short an innovative museum that recommend everyone... 更多
This attraction is so much more than a museum. The three docents that take you around are also the museums owners and occupants. Most of the items found in the home have been inherited by these three men. Our docent, Ian is from England. His tour around his home was marvelous and so very informative. The approx. one hour tour... 更多
Very nice, small and stylish museum. Owners are guides and experts of glass. They know what are they talking about, enjoy their work and you will certainly find something new about the glass, something you did not know before.
The museum is a private home lived in by 3 people who collect and own the collection. I did not know what to expect going in, I though it would be short and just a few interesting glass pieces. But it was a lovely surprise! The man who gave us the tour was one of the collectors and had a... 更多
This is a guided tour by the owner of his historical glass and art collection. You'll need to be interested in beautiful objects and their history to enjoy it, as it is subtle and educative. There are some amazing pieces and fascinating stories behind them.
I only went because trip advisor rated this so highly - I would not normally look to go to a glass museum out of choice. But it was truly fascinating. We were taken around by an elderly British academic (all visits are accompanied) who was one of the co-owners of the property. The owners had restored the house over a... 更多
the guide was very friendly and reminded us of a personal antic roadshow tour. the tour was amazing if you like antics.
Having read the reviews on trip advisor, My wife and I decided we would pay this a visit. we were escorted by an extremely friendly establishment. His knowledge and history of the glass was fascinating to hear and you could sense the extraordinary passion that he has for all the pieces of glass and crystal that were in his collection.... 更多
