This square is huge...the Frauenkirch is located here. Many cafes and restaurants surround the glorious space. It would be hard to miss this if you are a tourist in Dreden! Just walk, sit, eat,drink....linger....

It's the hub of Dresden Altstadt, where many restaurants, bars, hotels and key sights are located (or nearby). it's not usually packed (like Prague would be), but there's a good number of tourists, street performers, rides (horse carriage, antique electric car, ...) and revelers until late. coming to Dresden and not seeing it would be ... crazy.
Just like the old Market area this is a really big area that I can only imagine when there is a market it will have a lot.
