Right in town is this beautiful church in the neo gothic style of 1871. Our guidebook said the hand carved alter was made in 1475. As you would expect for a German Lutheran church the interior is beautiful but simple
The Warnemunde Church is located in the centre of the town. The architecture is neogothic - and it was built in 1871. It is an Evangelical Lutheran Church. The building is made of brown bricks. There is a very old clock which shows the time without the hour hand.
This beautiful church would be the centrepiece of this lovely town. Standing for over 100 years it is an imposing building and has served the congregation of Warnemunde well. We did not have the opportunity to enter so I cannot comment on the interior.
The church is an imposing building in a small town, and that is pretty much all you can say about it. Looks a little out of place in a coastal town but you can get a good picture or two here
Beautiful little church in an incredible setting--just as beautiful as the church. It is a simple church, but it has so much to see. Very simple not much on decoration, but interesting to see it. And I have discovered that in the churches up north near the sea they have replica saiboats hanging from the ceiling.
We could see the church from the ship and decided to walk there. Beautiful streets around the church and we found a nice bench to sit on and watch the people. Inside the church it was cool and quite and we were the only people there for a while which made it special. A soul experience and would love to... 更多
I love to visit churches so could not pass up this nice Lutheran church, Nothing fancy as you would expect from a Lutheran church. It fits this cute beachside town with its ships hanging from the rafters
