Nice gothic building in the middle of a city, but it was really hard to find a place for parking... the parking prices in this city are high - 2 euros for 1 hour and than 2 euros for half and hour. Well, so 6 euros for 1,5 hour :/ I recommend visit this city without a car - by... 更多
I only viewed this from the outside but it forms a large part of the pretty square which also has a gorgeous water feature. It mimics the sound of waves on the sea. The Rathaus looked really pretty with the night sky behind it
Fascinating and clever way to have restored a building of this size after its semi destruction through bombardment at the end of WW2. Some of the old wall has been kept in place and the general impression, when viewed from the adjoining market square is one of astonishing wonderment.
Well preserved and an interesting arcade inside makes this one of Stralsunds absolutely best sights. It's possible to go down in the basement as well.
Stralsund is in Northern Germany, a short drive from the port of Sassnitz (we arrived on a cruise boat). It's a medieval city and all modern buildings are in keeping with those of the past. Located just next to the St Nicholas church in the main square this is an impressive looking building from the outside, especially the front. Inside it is quite interesting too. It has been rebuilt and extended throughout it's life - it now houses a lot of shops. It is worth a walk through!
Great facade that dominates the square. Medievel market when we visited really made the whole thing. Lubeck is nice but Stralsund matches it without the tourists. If you need somewhere to stay campsite on the other side of the bridge on Rugen fits the bill great beach and quiet location.
In the middle of the Old Town and just next to the market place this is a beautiful building and lots of places around where you can enjoy coffee and drinks and watch people passing by
