Just entered the Museum before taking my train so I admit I didn't stay long. Large and spacious place lots of very different things that seem to be a bit randomly presented... was not too impressed, but maybe a longer and more complete visit might change this first impression. Visited to avoid the rain, it was very interesting and informative. It is a well laid out museum with lots of information in English, very useful if you don't speak much German.
Great museum with some interesting features, and very cheap at only 5EUR per adult. My only criticism would be that most of the literature is written in German with no translation to English. Well worth a visit if you are stuck for something to do!

Fascinating. Great displays of aspects of Hannover's history - inspired me to do some research! Excellent audio- guides. Few of the staff have much English - and why should they? It's their country! - but were happy to try and underdtand us and inform us. As a bonus, folding seats were plentiful for those (like me) with unreliable legs! Well... 更多
