We wanted to do something different for a change - we took the U Bahn to Potsdamer Platz, where we decided to go on the Potsdam City Tour = for some sightseeing and where the Potsdam Agreement was signed. There were headphones on the bus for the various different languages - the tour was very interesting and at the halfway... 更多
We got lucky getting on this tour, we arrived by train - just before the tour left otherwise we would probably only have seen central Potsdam. It's a massive area and whilst it could be done by public transport, the get on / off convenience of the bus is good. Whilst our trip was to Berlin, I preferred Potsdam -... 更多
Potsdam, once the residence of Prussian kings is a 35 minute train ride from Berlin. We walk through the Bridge of Spies where in 1962 an American pilot was exchange for a Soviet spy. Alex did a great job in taking us through the history of this city and sights of the quaint city proper. We ended the tour at... 更多
This 20km bike tour is great way of seeing the tourist spots in Potsdam. We rented our bikes at "Paddle Tours" just outside the train station. Great bikes with beautiful scenery, as well as great workout.
Didn't realise how big the area was until we happily came across the tour, it covered all of the main areas and the guide was most knowledgeable. So glad we spent the money.
This was a walking tour which started as a train journey from Berlin to Potsdam with Jess our guide from Original Berlin Walks. Jess was very knowledgeable and full of energy and humour. He was from LA but studying in Germany so his English was perfect. This was a fascinating all day tour with beautiful landscapes, history and palaces. We... 更多
We took this tour because it promoted a live English commentary. Unfortunately what we got was a recorded one, very poorly edited, out of synch with what we were seeing and in appalling English (complete with terrible 'jokes'). This spoils what would otherwise have been a great way to see this beautiful city.
A very good insight into Potsdam the SanssouciPark and palaces. Even a trip to the famous Glienicke Bridge included. The guide switched excellent English to German and back again whilst walking the tour round the palaces and park.this was a tour like no other city bus tour, not just a drive but in depth walks as well. Unfortunately we did... 更多
we caught the S-Bahn from Frierichstrasse (in Berlin) to Potsdam (40 minutes), then purchased tickets on the Potsdam City Tour Bus, which was right outside the railway station. excellent route around Potsdam and surrounding castles, including the the old headquarters of the KGB during the cold-war, and the location of the WW2 Potsdam conference where the allies decided to deal... 更多
