My boyfriend recommended this museum to me, which I kind of regret going to. It is very small, and chock-full of what looks like tschotschkes from my grandma's closet (minus Nazi paraphernalia). It's kind of cool to look at, but the explanations they have are not much fun to read in detail so the whole things feels pretty silly pretty... 更多
Berlin has a lot to offer when it comes to musea. So we visited a lot of them, also Museum der Dinge. To be honest, it did made us laugh some times and we felt a bit nostalgic. But still, a lot of it is more junk than it has a cultural value. It gives the impression of a second... 更多
I loved the Museum der Dinge - both for the fascinating collections of everyday objects but also for the way they were displayed: sometimes a case of yellow items, sometimes a whole case of plastic kitchenware from the 60s, sometimes a collection of scale models of Bauhaus furniture. True, it is not huge, and true it is fairly expensive to... 更多
We stumbled across this museum by sheer coincidence and we were very well surprised. In the end, it is a design museum and it's - literally - just "stuff" being displayed. But that is done in a most entertaining and educational way. Really interesting and worth a visit.
It is a well organized collection of houshold things from the 19th century and up to now. After 45 minutes I had seen enough. I guess its very cool if u are a collector of anything. But I'm not.
Museum if you're curious as I am on Industrial design and packaging. It features an amazing and great collection of all kind of every day obejcts and loads of information on good and bad design practices in Germany for the last 125 years. Good thing to add to your visit in Kreuzberg.
This is a cute museum (entrance is 6 euros) in Kreuzberg, a very hipster/turkish part of town off the beaten path of the normal tourist haunts more to the west of the city. The museum itself will take you 45-60 minutes to walk through, the main explanations are in German and English but the individual items are only in German.... 更多
This place is a gem. Many probably won't love it, but if you enjoy socio-political discourse, design, or just have a curious nature, this is for you. The building is very unassuming and easy to miss if you aren't looking for it, and the climb up the stairwell is exactly like in any GDR apartment or office. Entry is cheap,... 更多
