Went to see the permanent collection and also the Alice Springs portraits. Helmet Newton "Yellow press" collection was somewhat disturbing but in line with his other work. You can find so many interesting stuff about Helmut Newton's personal life and how he treated his friends or clients.. There are several letters with his personal handwritting.. There are also many photographs but I felt that it could have had much more of his work or some of the films made for him! They could just have a screening... 更多
Loved this place! Well worth the entry fee. Didn't get boring at all. Fantastic exhibition for Helmut and his Wife. The others, not as good, but well worth going.
If you interested in photography or not, this is one of these places in Berlin that you have to visit. Huge gallery with many objects: photos, photos and more photos, magazines, private things like cameras, car or clothes. Even Newton's wife has here her own exhibition space. Absolutely love this place.
