For sure they have a huge diversity of species. Anyway you can clearly understand that the animals there are not very happy,so if you are against of keeping selvage animals on captive is better not to go.
I visited both this zoo and the Tier Park in Berlin. This was a smaller one with the animals more close together than the Tier Park. The people visiting this zoo were friendly. I just wish I visited the aquarium which was in this zoo too so that I would see the full animals that were offered. You just take... 更多
We arrived at 09:30 and there was no queue to buy tickets. It's the first time I was in a zoo and never felt sorry for the big animals. They seem like they are happy and there are no huge cages. They were certainly well taken care of. The path is beautiful and everything is clean. Only thing missing is... 更多
As a group of six adults we had a really great day. The zoo is easy to reach on bus or au-Bahn. The zoo was quite open giving the animals reasonable enclosures. The park was tidy and clean. The restaurant was priced highly but expected. I recommend getting the two part ticket which includes both the zoo and aquarium.
a must visit in Berlin. the variety is literally amazing . well its a complete animal kingdom. the birds section is really fascinating . they allow you to enter inside. need to have at least 4 -5 hrs to cover it .Big Mac is just outside the main entrance. have fun .
The zoo was definitely one of the best, if not the best zoo I have ever been to! It was really nice that most, if not all the environments, were spacious and resembled the natural habitats. The surroundings were also extremely beautiful! Sadly we only got to the zoo at about 16.00 so we didn't have very long and didn't... 更多
The zoo is located at the center of Berlin and has a lot of species.I felt very bad when I saw the lions captured in small cages. Most of them where so miserable that They didn't eat their meat.I think that if a zoo doesn't have a proper facility, shouldn't have big animals.
The zoo was well laid out with lots to see and a schedule of feeding times. The monkey house was particularly entertaining. However, I came away feeling uncomfortable about some of the animals (elephants, orangutans, tigers) who seemed bored and depressed.
I went on a drizzling day so we were not expecting many animals to be out. However, those few which were out about in their enclosure looked very depressed. The rhinoceroses were just walking in a circle with its head low. The elephant's enclosure was bare except for a couple of thick tree trunks and a tyre to play with... 更多
There was nothing really special about this zoo, most of the animals were not out. Started off quite bad as the ticket staff was extremely rude. The monkey enclosure was big and it was nice to see that they were able to roam around to different rooms. The kangaroo enclosure though was small which made me a little sad being... 更多
I must start off by saying it was really cold the day we went and that may effect our experience. The zoo itself was pretty cool but the issues we had with it was that some of the animals were pacing and doing repetitive movements especially the polar bears and it was quite sad.
Clean, easy to get around, the animals are in great shape in lovely enclosures. The big cats are especially great if you get there for feeding time. The gorillas easily my favourite and the hippo enclosure is also brilliant - do get there for feeding time as they put on quite a show, hippos not renowned for great activity in... 更多
This zoo is amazing. Firstly, the modest price meant my partner and I got in for the price of one admission here in the UK at our nearest Zoo. The range of animals is ridiculously impressive. I've been to Zoo's in many cities but I saw so many animals that I hadn't previously seen before. The restaurant was great too.... 更多
