Free entrance to this exhibit inside this really odd shaped building. Was here to collect my Berlin Pass so thought I'd take a look inside. Great rooftop views from the restaurant even if you don't buy anything.
As you might know, a private foundation is reconstructing the former Berlin City Castle, that once belonged to theGerman Imperial family of the Hohenzollern. The reconstructing is an amazing and very succesfull project. It wil make Berlin like It was before the war, an extremely interesting city with lots of beautiful buildings. If you want to see the work going... 更多
This is only temporary setup at the construction site to showcase the reconstruction of the City Palace, Berlin, and it delivers. The information and the exhibits displayed are sufficient and well organised. I can see that it serves as good publicity for the reconstruction project especially the collection of the public donation is still ongoing. The reconstruction seems progressing well... 更多
You think that this is a part of the construction, as all around building material, cranes, etc.But it is a pretty interesting temporary exhibition about the future of the Berlin Castle. Hopefully it will not end like other constructons in Berlin - years of delay like Brandenburg Airport, Staatsoper Unter den Linden, U5, Museuminsel Visitor center, just to name some.

Perhaps it's useful to see what's planned for the area--a modern castle-like structure--but honestly, in... 更多
A short walk from Alexander Platz, it is a nice little spot to stop by, to have a view at the cathedral as well as one of the Humboldt University Faculty buildings. Worth a visit, especially that it is free :)

The staff wasn't very friendly for the exhibits that appeared to be hands on (some of them the instructions weren't very clear and if you touched the interactive exhibits the attendants weren't very good at explaining what you were supposed to be doing). i wouldn't visit... 更多
This temporary concrete structure gives a hint of what to expect when the new Humbollt Shloss is completed to becone Berlin;'s main ethnographic museum. It will the be demolished and not a moment too soon. The exhibits are a range of items collected by German explorers and scholars in their world travels in the 19th and earky 20th centuries, mainly... 更多
