Amazing architecture. Fabulous statues and for sure the best landmark in Munich and yet the least impossible to miss. You just have it in Marienplatz. Do not miss its interior.
An amazing building, greatly maintained (partially restored currently), right in the city centre, it is definitely worth taking some (or even more!) pictures. A don't miss!
This building is amazing. In its Neo-Gothic style this is one of the most ornate Ratthaus's in all of Europe. You can go to the top of the spire. The trip is well worth the 3 Euros. Again it can get crowed so its best to go early. The views are awesome.
This was quite special in the city centre. Near to the shopping districts. The clock rings every hour and apparently there is puppets that move when it rings but i didnt have the chance to witness any.
Definitely go to the top to enjoy fabulous 360 views of munich - they've mapped out what you see to help you get your bearings. Then go stand in front of the clock tower at 11 am, noon or 5 pm to watch the entertainment when the clock sounds. It is crowded and touristy, but oh what fun!
